Not true, Youre forgeting about the inclusion of Windows and Kinect. Those will drastically bloat the price of the 720.
Ps3s architecture and bottlenecks are to blame for that. I still don't see any 360 games that keeps up with UC3, KZ3 and God of War 3.

In terms of specs yes, but we'll see better looking games than whats on PC now. Its all about optimization. As an analogy, What a console can do with 4, a PC will take 10 to do.
Not only is the 720 going to be weaker, its also going to more complicated to develop for. With Sony having far better first and second party, its easy to see which console will pump out better looking titles.
The thing is that Sony was drastically held back by its mistakes and 360 still couldn't overtake PS3, it was outsold by it worldwide and has been selling at a faster rate since 2007. With those disadvantages gone, Sony has this in the bag with PS4. Especially given MS track record with new Ips/exclusives, MS won't have an easy time this gen.
They obviously have enough to get the job done. Marketing will only go so far, sometimes you have to offer substance as well.
This was bound to happen, 360 couldn't outsell PS3 despite PS3 having all of its disadvantages in the market. What do you think will happen with PS4 with Sony not making those same mistakes and coming out full force. MS only chance is to focus more on exclusive games and give people a reason to prefer its console over PS4. PlayStation has always been a bigger brand and it looks like its going to stay that way.
Actually Move sold close to what Kinect sold. Their last official milestones was 20 mil for Kinect and 15 for Move. Not an astronomical difference. Not focusing on casuals is a good thing anyway.

Yeah, Sony lost so much mindshare that they're selling at a faster rate than 360 while launching a year later. MS won't have that advantage anymore. actually Tekken, Soul Caliber, and Virtua Fighter have been doing well for themselves, with Tekken on par with SF in terms of popularity. Street Fighter just made a comeback for 2D fighting games.
I don't understand the problem. Sony had to find a happy medium. They can't just get a 600 dollar GPU and charge 400 for the entire console. Had they done that,everyone would say they're going out of business. They also couldn't charge 900 bucks for the thing else it would be too expensive. The PS4 is a leap over the PS3, thats all that matters in the end.
